The College Place (TCP)

At The College Place, students of all ages can get help planning for college. If you are a student looking for resources to help you polish your college applications and untangle the red tape and paperwork of applying for financial aid, you've come to the right place.

Upon completion of this short student survey, you will also be connected with Kaleidoscope, a public benefit company, where you will be able to find and apply for private scholarships offered by companies and other organizations. Based on information you entered into the TCP Online Sign Up, the system will search all the scholarships on the platform and present the scholarships you may be eligible for. Then, like Netflix, students see tiles on the screen, each with branded logos of the particular organization offering a particular scholarship. Once students click on an option and start filling out the application, the system automatically populates the answers to similar questions on any other application they fill out.

Hicks vs. Hacks Scholarship Application In honor of Dale Felten. This Scholarship is specific to Brentsville seniors!
Dale Felten was a dedicated Social Studies teacher at Brentsville for over three decades. His decorated career also included coaching football, basketball and golf. For us, he was our Government teacher, golf coach and a good friend.
We want to award this scholarship in his name in order to demonstrate our appreciation for all of the hard work and hours upon hours that he dedicated to the students and athletes at Brentsville High School when he could have been in Minnesota ice fishing!
